Our principles

Our mission is to empower families and communities with innovative and accessible childcare and early education services, transforming the way children learn and grow.

Research-based education

We are committed to providing a curriculum based on research and collaboration with experts from the field of education, psychology, and neuroscience.

We continuously enhance our knowledge, seek new solutions, we try new things, work with different partners and thereby offer richer experiences to the children in our care. We expand the potential of children, the experiences of educators and parents. Our teachers receive the necessary support and resources to expand their capacity for observation and documentation of 100 languages of children.

We are inspired by the research and activities of Project Zero from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Reggio Emilia approach

The Village's pedagogical philosophy is focused on the child and creating an environment that stimulates learning and development.

The Village Education Group is inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogy, the approach to early school education created after World War II in the Italian town of Reggio Emilia. Loris Malaguzzi, a teacher, philosopher and poet, and the initiator of the first Reggio Emilia school believed that a child naturally has a hundred ways of communication - “the hundred languages of the child”.

This philosophy is inspired by the achievements of the Maria Montessori method, the research of Piaget and Vagotsky, and more. Reggio goes further, it is a kind of laboratory for working with children, which constantly adapts to the context of our modern reality. It is based on the latest discoveries of science about the development of a child's brain, the needs of 21st-century economics, but also the principles of functioning of democratic teams.

Trust and team

At The Village Education Group, we are inspired by the teal organization method of management. Trust, self-organization, and self-management are in our DNA.

Together we learn to find strategies that take into account the needs of those who make up our community - both children and adults. We value democratic education and we aim to help to create the generation of free thinkers ready for 21st-century challenges.

Our organizational culture is based on four foundations:

  • trust

  • self-reliance,

  • commitment

  • and responsibility for decisions made.

The Village is a joint project. We operate individually while knowing that the success of a company depends on the commitment and determination of the team members.
